Communicating for Understanding & Impact This program increases individual and team results through interpersonal communication improvement. Through a series of experiential exercises, we illustrate the barriers that have the potential to create conflict and obstacles to effective communication and performance. We combine practical exercises with techniques that increase awareness and teach new skills.
Participants will:
Identify “Communication Best Practices” and performance feedback mechanisms needed to ensure “team” success
Explore issues that undermine or inhibit effective communication and teamwork
Gain insight and feedback into the “cause and effect” relationship between their actions and behavioral choices, and the results that they create
Develop a personal improvement plan that will guide them in the application of the new communication skills and behaviors they have learned
learn how to achieve accurate understanding by learning effective, timesaving communication behaviors that are essential
learn how to eliminate misunderstandings through inquiry
Participants will consider their own interpersonal communication skills and style as they develop an implementation plan to increase their personal effectiveness. This plan identifies any gaps that exist between current interpersonal business relationships that highly impact productivity and the desirable state of those relationships. Specific, time-bound steps are identified to close the gaps.

Ethical Leadership For all leaders - upper management, middle management, front-line supervisors, and team leaders-ethics is essential to success. This workshop helps leaders understand the benefits of ethical behavior and to apply ethical principles in their roles as leaders. Using a well-defined system of understanding ethical decisions and choices, the workshop helps participants know how to choose the most ethical choices. We examine the concept of organizational social responsibility, seeing how values-based organizations today let principles and values guide participants in day-to-day decisions, as they avoid wrong behaviors and take active steps to do what's right. When they complete this program, participants will understand how to be ethical in their own actions, and how to lead others in their groups or organizations to be ethical.
